Balarāma’s Pilgrimage Context
एतदिच्छाम्यहं श्रोतुं परं कौतूहलं हि मे । इसके बाद धैर्यवान् असितने उन लोकोंमें रहनेवाले ब्रह्मययाजी सिद्धों और साधु पुरुषोंसे हाथ जोड़कर विनीतभावसे पूछा--“महात्माओ! मैं महातेजस्वी जैगीषव्यको अब देख नहीं रहा हूँ। आप उनका पता बतावें। मैं उनके विषयमें सुनना चाहता हूँ। इसके लिये मेरे मनमें बड़ी उत्कण्ठा है”

毗湿摩波衍那说：“此事我愿闻之，我心好奇甚深。”于是坚忍的阿悉多合掌恭敬，向居于诸界、奉行梵祭的悉地者与圣贤问道：“大德诸君！我如今不复见那威光赫奕的阇耆湿婆耶。请告我他在何处。我渴望闻其事迹，心中满是殷切向往。”
