Sārasvata–Dadhīca Upākhyāna at Sarasvatī Tīrtha
Balarāma’s Pilgrimage Context
tato munivaraṃ bhūyo jaigīṣavyam athāsitaḥ
The verse underscores the authority and steadiness of a muni: ethical instruction and truthful narration are conveyed through disciplined composure, and the act of ‘sitting again’ marks a deliberate return to sustained counsel rather than impulsive speech.
Vaiśampāyana reports that the eminent sage Jaigīṣavya sat down again, indicating a transition point where the sage resumes or continues a discourse, instruction, or account within the ongoing Shalya Parva narration.
