कार्त्तिकेयाभिषेकः — Consecration of Kārttikeya and the Enumeration of His Retinue
तेडपि तत्र समाजम्मुर्यामा धामाश्च सर्वश: । देवताओं और गन्धवॉमें श्रेष्ठ नारद आदि देवर्षि, बृहस्पति आदि सिद्ध, सम्पूर्ण जगत््से श्रेष्ठ तथा देवताओंके भी देवता पितृगण, सम्पूर्ण यामगण और धामगण भी वहाँ आये थे
te 'pi tatra samājam ūryāmā dhāmāś ca sarvaśaḥ | devatā-gaṇāś ca gandharveṣu śreṣṭho nārada-ādi devarṣayaḥ, bṛhaspati-ādi siddhāḥ, samasta-jagat-śreṣṭhāḥ tathā devatānām api devatāḥ pitṛgaṇāḥ, samasta-yāma-gaṇāś ca dhāma-gaṇāś ca tatraivāgatāḥ ||
毗舍婆耶那说道:在那里,阎摩众与达摩众的诸会亦以种种方式齐集。诸天与乾闼婆中最胜者——如那罗陀等天仙——与以布里哈斯帕提为首的成就者(悉地),以及被尊为崇高、甚至在诸天之上的祖灵众(Pitṛ),都来到此处。阎摩众与达摩众的一切部众也都抵达了那里。
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights that pivotal moral events are not merely human affairs: they are observed by cosmic and ancestral authorities (devas, siddhas, pitṛs). This frames the war’s outcomes as bound to dharma and accountability beyond immediate worldly power.
Vaiśampāyana describes a vast gathering where many classes of divine and perfected beings—Nārada and other devarṣis, Bṛhaspati and other siddhas, the Pitṛs, and the hosts called Yāmas and Dhāmas—arrive to witness the unfolding events.
