Kapālamocana-tīrtha (Auśanasa) and Balarāma’s Sarasvatī Pilgrimage
पितामहस्य महतो वर्तमाने महामखे । वितते यज्ञवाटे च संसिद्धिषु द्विजातिषु,एक समयकी बात है, पुष्करतीर्थमें महात्मा ब्रह्माजीका एक महान् यज्ञ हो रहा था। उनकी विस्तृत यज्ञशालामें सिद्ध ब्राह्मण विराजमान थे। पुण्याहवाचनके निर्दोष घोष तथा वेदमन्त्रोंकी ध्वनिसे सारा यज्ञमण्डप गूँज रहा था और सम्पूर्ण देवता उस यज्ञ-कर्मके सम्पादनमें व्यस्त थे
vaiśampāyana uvāca | pitāmahasya mahato vartamāne mahāmakhe | vitate yajñavāṭe ca saṃsiddhiṣu dvijātiṣu ||
毗舍摩波耶那说道：当伟大的祖父（梵天 Brahmā）正在举行宏大的祭祀之时，祭场已广布陈设、诸事齐备，成就的“二生”（婆罗门）祭司列坐其间；整个祭坛回荡着清净无瑕的“吉日宣告”（puṇyāha）之声与吠陀真言的轰鸣回响，而诸天亦专注勤作，忙于完成祭仪的一切行事。
