युद्धाभिलाषुको भूत्वा ध्वजो गाण्डीवधन्चन: । कर्णध्वजमुपातिष्ठत् स्वस्थानाद् वेगवान् कपि:
yuddhābhilāṣuko bhūtvā dhvajo gāṇḍīvadhanañcanaḥ | karṇadhvajam upātiṣṭhat svasthānād vegavān kapiḥ ||
三阇耶说道：怀着渴战之心，那力大无比的神猴——作为执持“甘狄婆”(Gāṇḍīva)之阿周那战车的旗帜——从原处迅疾跃起，转而正面对峙于迦尔那的军旗之前。此刻昭示决意陡增：阿周那车上的徽记不再只是象征，而成了护佑与挑战的活兆，使两位英雄之间的道义与武力对抗愈加尖锐。
