तदनन्तर कर्णका हर्ष बढ़ानेके लिये कौरव-सैनिक वहाँ सब ओर बाजे बजाने और शंखध्वनि करने लगे ।।

Transliteration

tadanantaraṁ karṇasya harṣaṁ vardhayituṁ kaurava-sainikāḥ tatra sarvato vādyāni vādayām āsuḥ śaṅkha-nādaṁ ca cakruḥ | tathaiva pāṇḍavāḥ sarve harṣayantaḥ dhanañjayam tūrya-śaṅkha-ninādena diśaḥ sarvāḥ vyanādayan |

Translation

三阇耶说道：随后，为了增添迦尔那的欢喜，俱卢军士卒从四面八方奏响乐器、吹起海螺。照样，般度五子也为振奋“财胜者”檀那阇耶（阿周那）的斗志，以号角与海螺之声使四方尽皆回响。
