te vai nipetustapanīyapuḍkhā dvidhā tridhā bhīmaśarair nikṛttāḥ | tato rājan nāgarathāś ca yūnāṃ bhīmahātānāṃ vararājamadhye ||
三阇耶说:那些饰以金羽的箭矢,被毗摩之箭斩作两段、三段,纷纷坠地。继而,王啊,就在诸王之最前列当中,被毗摩击中的战车与勇士也相继崩倒,尽为其威势所压。此景昭示:战阵之能可在顷刻间摧折骄矜与锐势,并警醒诸侯——在由非义(adharma)驱动的冲突里,权势何其脆弱。
संजय उवाच
Even in a righteous warrior’s sphere, battlefield success is transient and contingent; the verse highlights the fragility of martial pride and the swift reversal of fortune, urging rulers to remember restraint and the moral weight of war.
Sañjaya describes Bhīma’s superior archery: enemy arrows with golden fletchings are cut into pieces mid-flight and fall, and the chariots/warriors he strikes down collapse amid the assembled kings on the battlefield.
