“जो अर्जुनसे यह कह दे कि “तुम्हें अपना गाण्डीवधनुष दूसरेको दे देना चाहिये” वह मनुष्य इस जगतमें उनका वध्य है।” आपने आज अर्जुनसे ऐसी ही बात कह दी है ।।
tataḥ satyāṃ pratijñāṃ tāṃ pārthena pratirakṣatā | macchandād avamāno ’yaṃ kṛtas tava mahīpate ||
三阇耶说道:“于是,大王啊,当帕尔塔(阿周那)守护那真实的誓愿之时,这番羞辱却由你而起,违背了我的心意。”此言指向一处道德裂隙:阿周那关于甘狄婆的庄严誓约正受考验,而国王之语被界定为越过誓约所划定伦理边界的侮辱。
संजय उवाच
A truthful vow (pratijñā) creates a binding ethical boundary; speech that provokes or violates that boundary becomes an act of dishonor (avamāna) with serious consequences, especially in a dharma-centered warrior context.
