The verse highlights how collective morale and devotion to righteous leadership shape the ethical tone of victory: the Pāṇḍavas celebrate not merely by boasting of force, but by acknowledging Kṛṣṇa and Arjuna as guiding centers of resolve, implying that success in conflict is stabilized by unity, discipline, and reverence for worthy leadership.
At day’s end, the Kauravas withdraw from the battlefield. The Pāṇḍavas, having gained the upper hand, return to their camp in high spirits, sounding instruments and shouting triumphant cries, mocking the enemy and praising Kṛṣṇa (Acyuta) and Arjuna.
