अकम्पत महाराज भयत्रस्तेव चाड़ना | महाराज! दौड़ते हुए पैदल सैनिकोंके पैरोंकी धमकसे यह पृथ्वी भयभीत अबलाके समान काँपने लगी
sañjaya uvāca | akampata mahārāja bhayatrastā iva cāṇḍanā | mahārāja! dhāvataḥ padātisainikānāṃ pādānāṃ dhamakena iyaṃ pṛthivī bhayabhītā abalā iva kampitum ārabdhā |
三阇耶说道：大王啊，大地开始震颤，仿佛被恐惧攫住。伟大的君王啊，奔走的步兵以脚步如雷轰击地面，土地便像受惊而无助的女子般战栗——此喻凸显战争那压倒一切、使人性消磨的力量。
