कथं वैषां तदा युद्धे धृतिरासीन्मुमूर्षताम् । शैनेयचरितं दृष्टवा यादृशं सव्यसाचिन:,वे सब-के-सब मरना चाहते थे। उस समय युद्धस्थलमें अर्जुनके समान ही सात्यकिका चरित्र देखकर उनकी कैसी धारणा हुई थी?
sañjaya uvāca | kathaṁ vaiṣāṁ tadā yuddhe dhṛtir āsīn mumūrṣatām | śaineya-caritaṁ dṛṣṭvā yādṛśaṁ savyasācinaḥ ||
三阇耶说道：“在那场战斗中，那些已抱必死之心的人，究竟如何生出坚忍与定力？而当他们目睹尸尼之子（萨底耶吉）的行止与武威——与阿周那（善射者）无异——这又在他们心中激起了怎样的信念与心境？”
