प्रयुक्ता रथिभिर्बाणा भीमवेगा: सुतेजना: । ते निपेतुर्महाराज नागेषु च रथेषु च
sañjaya uvāca | prayuktā rathibhir bāṇā bhīmavegāḥ sutejanāḥ | te nipetur mahārāja nāgeṣu ca ratheṣu ca |
三阇耶说道：大王啊，战车勇士所射之箭——迅疾可怖，锋芒炽烈——如雨点般落在战象与战车之上。此景昭示：在战斗的狂热里，武艺与怒火会化作不分彼此的毁灭，同样摧折人命与战兽，使这场冲突的道德重负愈加沉重。
