मोहयन् समरे द्रौणिं मायावी राक्षसाधिप: । तत्पश्चात् उस मायावी राक्षसराजने समरांगणमें अश्वत्थामाको मोहित करते हुए अत्यन्त दारुण घोर माया प्रकट की
sañjaya uvāca | mohayan samare drauṇiṃ māyāvī rākṣasādhipaḥ | tatpaścāt sa māyāvī rākṣasarājo raṇāṅgaṇe aśvatthāmānaṃ mohayann atyantaṃ dāruṇaṃ ghoraṃ māyāṃ prāduracakāra |
桑阇耶说:在鏖战正酣之际,那位善使幻术的罗刹之主迷惑了德罗那之子。继而,那狡黠的罗刹王仍在战场上不断扰乱阿湿婆他摩的心智,显现出最为惨烈而骇人的幻力景象——昭示战争之中,欺诳与超自然的权谋足以遮蔽明辨,使暴烈更趋炽盛。
संजय उवाच
