Ghaṭotkaca–Duryodhana Engagement
ततो<भिवीक्ष्याप्रतिमप्र भाव- स्तवात्मजस्त्वरमाणो रथेन
tato ’bhivīkṣyāpratimapra-bhāvaḥ tavātmajas tvaramāṇo rathena
三阇耶说道:随后,他望见那位威力无比的战士,你的儿子便驾车疾驰而上,急于应对;在战场的道义压力与名声的重担之下,他被迫作出回应。
संजय उवाच
The verse highlights how the perception of another’s extraordinary prowess can compel swift action; in a dharma-framed war, urgency is shaped not only by strategy but also by honor, reputation, and the pressure to meet a worthy challenge.
Sañjaya narrates that, after observing an opponent of incomparable power, Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s son (Duryodhana) quickly advances or prepares to act, mounting his chariot and moving with haste in response to what he has seen.
