गृह्यानुमन्त्रय गाण्डीवं शरान् संनतपर्वण: । अनुमान्य महात्मानं भरतानां महारथम्
gṛhyānumantraya gāṇḍīvaṃ śarān sannatapārvaṇaḥ | anumānya mahātmānaṃ bharatānāṃ mahāratham ||
三阇耶说道:“他执起甘狄婆神弓,又取那节榫严密、装配精良的箭矢;并依礼请得那位大心之人——婆罗多族中威名赫赫的大车战士——的允诺之后,……”
संजय उवाच
Even in war, action is framed by discipline and propriety: the warrior prepares his weapons but proceeds only after due consultation and respectful assent, reflecting restraint and adherence to kṣatriya protocol.
Sañjaya describes a warrior (implicitly connected with the Gāṇḍīva) taking up bow and arrows and, after seeking/receiving approval from a great-souled mahāratha among the Bharatas, moving forward to the next action in the battle sequence.
