एवमस्य धरनूंष्याजी चिच्छेद सुबहून्यथ । उस महायुद्धमें भीष्म जो-जो धनुष हाथमें लेते थे कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन उसे आधे निमेषमें काट डालते थे। इस प्रकार उन्होंने रणक्षेत्रमें उनके बहुत-से धनुष खण्डित कर दिये

evam asya dhanuṁṣy ājau ciccheda subahūny atha |

三阇耶说道:就这样,在鏖战正酣之际,阿周那一次又一次斩断毗湿摩的弓——快到毗湿摩手中方才执起的弓,转瞬之间便被截为两段。于是,在战场上,他击碎了毗湿摩许多兵器,显出无与伦比的技艺,而战争沉重而阴冷的职责仍压在双方肩头。
