एवमस्य धरनूंष्याजी चिच्छेद सुबहून्यथ । उस महायुद्धमें भीष्म जो-जो धनुष हाथमें लेते थे कुन्तीकुमार अर्जुन उसे आधे निमेषमें काट डालते थे। इस प्रकार उन्होंने रणक्षेत्रमें उनके बहुत-से धनुष खण्डित कर दिये
evam asya dhanuṁṣy ājau ciccheda subahūny atha |
三阇耶说道：就这样，在鏖战正酣之际，阿周那一次又一次斩断毗湿摩的弓——快到毗湿摩手中方才执起的弓，转瞬之间便被截为两段。于是，在战场上，他击碎了毗湿摩许多兵器，显出无与伦比的技艺，而战争沉重而阴冷的职责仍压在双方肩头。
