तदप्यस्य शितैर्भल्लैस्त्रिधा त्रिभिरघातयत्‌ | तब गंगानन्दन भीष्मने दूसरा अत्यन्त प्रबल धनुष हाथमें लिया; परंतु अर्जुनने तीन तीखे भल्‍्लोंद्वारा मारकर उसे भी तीन जगहसे खण्डित कर दिया

tad apy asya śitair bhallais tridhā tribhir aghātayat |

三阇耶说道:就连他那张弓,阿周那也以三支锋利如刃的婆罗(bhalla)箭击中,将其震裂为三段。此事彰显阿周那在战阵中的自律与精熟,也显出战争无情的推进:当技艺与决心坚定不移时,再强大的兵器亦可化为无用。
