Shloka 49

निवारयामास शरै: सम॑ संनतपर्वभि: । सत्यपराक्रमी भीष्म युद्धस्थलमें अन्य सब राजाओं-द्वारा छोड़े हुए बाणोंका झुकी हुई गाँठवाले अपने बाणोंद्वारा तुरंत ही निवारण कर देते थे || ४८ ह ।।

nivārayāmāsa śaraiḥ samaṃ sannatapārva-bhiḥ |

śikhaṇḍī tu raṇe bāṇān yān mumoca mahārathaḥ ||

三阇耶说道:毗湿摩以自己关节微曲的箭矢,凭其真实无伪的英勇,立刻拦截并化解了战场上诸王所放出的箭雨。与此同时,大车战士尸建陀亦在阵中放射他所发出的箭矢。
