शिखण्डिनं पुरस्कृत्य धनुश्वास्य समाच्छिनत्‌ । तब किरीटधारी अर्जुनने कुपित हो शिखण्डीको आगे किये हुए ही भीष्मपर धावा किया और उनके धनुषको काट डाला

Transliteration

śikhaṇḍinaṃ puraskṛtya dhanuśvāsy samācchinat |

Translation

三阇耶说道：阿周那头戴冠冕，将尸建陀因置于前方，怒而冲向毗湿摩，并斩断其弓，从而击中了毗湿摩在战场上抗衡之力的根本凭藉。
