क्षत्रं चान्ये5भ्यनिन्दन्त भीष्म चान्ये3भ्यपूजयन्‌ । ऋषय: पितरश्रैव प्रशशंसुर्महाव्रतम्‌

Transliteration

kṣatraṃ cānye ’bhyanindanta bhīṣmaṃ cānye ’bhyapūjayan | ṛṣayaḥ pitarāś caiva praśaśaṃsur mahāvratam ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：有人责难武士之法，有人却礼敬毗湿摩。诸仙与祖灵之父（Pitṛ）同声赞颂毗湿摩——那位守持大誓者——称扬他一生戒行的坚贞，即便置身战争的道德纷乱之中亦不动摇。
