रथाग्न्यगारशक्षापार्चिरसिशक्तिगदेन्धन: । शरसंघमहाज्वाल: क्षत्रियान्‌ समरेडदहत्‌

Transliteration

sañjaya uvāca |

rathāgnyagāraśaṣkāpārcirasiśaktigadendhanaḥ |

śarasaṅghamahājvālaḥ kṣatriyān samare ’dahat ||

Translation

三阇耶说道：在那场战斗中，仿佛有烈火在战场上吞噬诸刹帝利。战车如火堂；弓如火舌；剑、矛与钉头槌作薪柴；而箭雨成群，便是那火焰的巨大烈焰本身——此乃战争吞噬之力的譬喻：武勇化作毁灭的燎原之火，考验着刹帝利之法（kṣatriya-dharma）的极限。
