भीष्मस्य शरवर्षः — Bhīṣma’s Arrow-Storm and Kṛṣṇa’s Impulse to Intervene
पाण्डवा: समरे शूरा: स्थिता युद्धाय दंशिता: । इस प्रकार शूरवीर पाण्डव भी समरांगणमें अत्यन्त दुर्जय महाव्यूहकी रचना करके कवच बाँध युद्धके लिये तैयार थे
pāṇḍavāḥ samare śūrāḥ sthitā yuddhāya daṃśitāḥ |
三阇耶说道：般度五子——战阵中的勇士——在战场上稳立不移，披坚执锐，决意交锋。他们布置了一座难以攻破的宏大战阵，系紧铠甲，整肃备战；在战争所加诸的严峻法义（dharma）要求之下，显出纪律分明的准备与担当。
