न व | / |! ( ४ 5 ॥ भक्ष्यखाण्डवरागाणां क्रियतां भुज्यतां तथा । पशूनां बध्यतां चैव नान््तं ददृशिरे जना:
Vaiśampāyana uvāca | bhakṣya-khāṇḍava-rāgāṇāṃ kriyatāṃ bhujyatāṃ tathā | paśūnāṃ badhyatāṃ caiva nāntaṃ dadṛśire janāḥ ||
毗舍波耶那说：诸般饮食与名为“卡安达瓦—拉伽”(khāṇḍava-rāga)的甘美饮品，被烹制与享用得如此丰盈，以至众人望不见其尽头；同样，被缚于彼处的牲畜之数，也仿佛无穷无尽。此景既彰显王家款待与祭仪供备之浩大规模，亦令人感受在祭祀语境中缚兽所承载的伦理分量。
