Transliteration

saudāya uvāca | na caivaiṣā gatiḥ kṣemyā na cānyā vidyate gatiḥ | etan me matam ājñāya prayaccha maṇikuṇḍale |

Translation

娑乌达耶说：“我所陷入的这条路，并不利于我的安稳福祉；除此之外，也再无别途。既知我此决意，便将你那对宝石耳环交与这位婆罗门。”
