इत्युक्तस्तामुत्तड़कस्तु भर्तुर्वाक्यमथाब्रवीत्‌ । श्रुत्वा च सा तदा प्रादात्‌ ततस्ते मणिकुण्डले

Transliteration

ity uktas tām uttaṅkas tu bhartur vākyam athābravīt | śrutvā ca sā tadā prādāt tatas te maṇikuṇḍale ||

Translation

既受此言，优檀迦便去见王后，原原本本复述其夫之语。王后听罢，立刻依从，将那对宝石耳环交与优檀迦牟尼——此乃对正当请求的迅速顺从，亦是对达摩的忠贞。
