गौतमस्य तु शिष्याणां बहूनां जनमेजय । उत्तड़के< भ्यधिका प्रीति: स्नेहश्वैवाभवत् तदा
vaiśampāyana uvāca |
gautamasya tu śiṣyāṇāṃ bahūnāṃ janamejaya |
uttaraṅke bhyadhikā prītiḥ snehaś caivābhavat tadā ||
毗湿摩波耶那说道：“噢，阇那美阇耶！在乔达摩众多弟子之中，当时对优多楞迦（Uttaṅka）生起了格外深厚的慈爱与温热的眷恋，使他在诸弟子里尤为受宠、最为可亲。”
