Mind as Charioteer; Kṣetrajña, Tapas, and Dhyāna-Yoga

Adhyātma-Upadeśa

तथा कर्मसु विज्ञेयं फलं भवति वा न वा । पुरुषस्यात्मनि:श्रेय: शुभाशुभनिदर्शनम्‌

tathā karmasu vijñeyaṃ phalaṃ bhavati vā na vā | puruṣasyātmaniḥśreyaḥ śubhāśubhanidarśanam |

同样,在诸行(业)的领域中,当知其果或生、或不生。人于自身之内所证得的至善,便成为前世所携吉凶习气(saṃskāra,行蕴之熏习)的标记:当修持瑜伽之戒行时,成就或艰难方现,或竟不显,皆随彼潜在造作而定。
