Mokṣa-dharma Yoga-Upadeśa: Equanimity, Sense-Restraint, and Vision of the Ātman (आत्मदर्शन-योगोपदेशः)
ity uktaḥ sa tadā kṛṣṇa mayā śiṣyo mahātapāḥ | agacchat yathākāmaṃ brāhmaṇaḥ saṃśitavrataḥ ||
The verse highlights disciplined conduct (saṃśitavrata) and the autonomy of a spiritually accomplished person: after receiving instruction, the ascetic disciple proceeds without attachment, acting in accordance with his resolved purpose.
The speaker (a Brāhmaṇa) tells Kṛṣṇa that, after he spoke to his disciple, the great ascetic Brāhmaṇa departed at once, going freely to the place he intended.
