मधुरास्तु कथाश्षित्राश्षित्रार्थपदनिश्चया: । निश्चयज्ञ: स पार्थाय कथयामास केशव:

Transliteration

vaiśampāyana uvāca |

madhurās tu kathāś citrāś citrārthapadaniścayāḥ |

niścayajñaḥ sa pārthāya kathayāmāsa keśavaḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩波耶那说：那些叙事听来甘美，变化多端而又生动鲜明，其义旨亦以精当之辞而确立无疑。善于辨别确定与真实的克里希那（计舍婆）将这些讲述给帕尔塔（阿周那）。
