Educational Q&A

A ruler must practice constant vigilance: understanding the weak points, risks, and potential failures within one’s own side as well as in opponents, so that governance remains stable and harm is prevented.

Vaiśampāyana continues instructive counsel addressed to King Yudhiṣṭhira, presenting a principle of rāja-dharma (kingly duty): sustained attentiveness to vulnerabilities in both internal administration and external rivals.
