धृतराष्ट्रस्य पाण्डवेषु प्रीति-वृत्तान्तः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Affectionate Disposition toward the Pāṇḍavas
मूर्धानं च तवाघ्रातुमिच्छामि मनुजाधिप । पाणिशभ्यां हि परिस्प्रष्टं प्रीणनं हि महन्मम,नरेश्वर! मैं तुम्हारा मस्तक सूँघना चाहता हूँ और अपने दोनों हाथोंसे तुम्हें स्पर्श करनेकी इच्छा रखता हूँ। इससे मुझे परम तृप्ति मिल रही है
mūrdhānaṃ ca tavāghrātum icchāmi manujādhipa | pāṇibhyāṃ hi parisparṣṭuṃ prīṇanaṃ hi mahan mama ||
持国王说道:“噢,人中之主,我愿嗅闻你的头顶,并以双手将你周身抚触。于我而言,这是一种极大的欢喜与深深的满足。”
वैशम्पायन उवाच
The verse highlights reverence expressed through embodied gestures—touch and smelling the head—showing that dharmic relationships are sustained not only by words and duties but also by humility, affection, and honoring another’s person.
