धृतराष्ट्रस्य युधिष्ठिरं प्रति व्यवहार-रक्षा-नियमनोपदेशः | Dhṛtarāṣṭra’s Instruction on Administration, Punishment, and Daily Governance

स गत्वा राजवचनादुवाचाच्युतमी श्वरम्‌ । युधिष्ठिरं महातेजा: सर्वबुद्धिमतां वर:

sa gatvā rājavacanād uvāca acyutam īśvaram | yudhiṣṭhiraṃ mahātejāḥ sarvabuddhimatāṃ varaḥ ||

遵奉王命,声名显赫的维度罗——诸智者之冠——前往拜见坚战,那位无失之主、从不偏离法(dharma)的王者,并如是陈言。此颂将维度罗的到来描绘为尽职与劝诫:智慧不仅在于知法,更在于以适时之言事奉法,进谏于持法之君。
