स तामृषिस्तदा क्रुद्धो वाक्यमाह शुभाननाम्‌ | रेणुके कि चिरेण त्वमागतेति पुन: पुन:

Transliteration

sa tām ṛṣis tadā kruddho vākyam āha śubhānanām | reṇuke ki cireṇa tvam āgateti punaḥ punaḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说：当时那位大仙人动了怒，对他那容颜秀美的妻子开口，反复追问：“勒努迦，你为何来得这样迟？”
