Puṣkara-Śapatha Itihāsa (Agastya–Indra Dispute at the Tīrthas) | पुष्कर-शपथ-आख्यानम्
भीष्म उवाच अवेदोत्तव्रताश्चैव भुज्जाना: कामकारणे । वेदोक्तेषु तु भुज्जाना व्रतलुप्ता युधिष्ठिर
bhīṣma uvāca avedottavratāś caiva bhuñjānāḥ kāmakāraṇe | vedokteṣu tu bhuñjānā vrataluptā yudhiṣṭhira ||
毗湿摩说道：“有些人只为欲望所驱而食，所持誓戒与禁制并不根植于吠陀。然而，即便只食吠陀所许之物的人，若舍弃誓戒的纪律与本意，亦成‘破戒者’，尤提士提罗啊。”
