Austerity, regulated fasting, residual-eating, and hospitality
नष्ट देवलके दत्तमप्रतिष्ठं च वार्धुषे । यत्तु वाणिजके दत्तं नेह नामुत्र तद् भवेत्
Bhīṣma uvāca: naṣṭaṁ devalake dattam apratiṣṭhaṁ ca vārdhuṣe | yat tu vāṇijake dattaṁ neha nāmutra tad bhavet ||
毗湿摩说道：“施与那以庙宇侍奉为生者（尤指施罗达之供献），其施即成虚耗。施与放债取息者，所得之果不稳。凡施与商贾者，今世无益，后世亦无益。”
