Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
ददृशुः कृत्तिकास्तं तु बालार्कसदृशद्युतिम् । पुत्रं वै ताश्न तं बाल॑ पुपुषु: स्तन््यविस््रवै:
dadṛśuḥ kṛttikās taṃ tu bālārka-sadṛśa-dyutim | putraṃ vai tās tu taṃ bālaṃ pupuṣuḥ stanya-visravaiḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：克利底迦诸星见到那光辉灿然的婴孩，其耀彩如初升之日。她们认他为己子，以乳汁自胸间涌流而哺育抚养——此乃自发而慈悲的护持之象，彰显照料无助者之责任与法度。
