Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
देवा ऊचु वरदानाद् भगवतो दैतेयो बलगर्वित: । देवैर्न शक््यते हन्तुं स कथं प्रशमं व्रजेत्
devā ūcuḥ varadānād bhagavato daiteyo balagarvitaḥ | devair na śakyate hantuṃ sa kathaṃ praśamaṃ vrajet ||
众天神说道：“世尊啊，正因您所赐之恩，那位大底耶（Daitya）才因力量之傲而沉醉。诸天无法杀死他。在此情形之下，又如何能使他止息、受约束呢？”
