Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa

Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results

कार्तिकेयस्तु संवृद्ध:ः कालेन महता तदा | देवैः सेनापतित्वेन वृतः सेन्द्रैर्भगूद्धह,भुगुश्रेष्ठ! कार्तिकेय जब दीर्घकालमें बड़े हुए तब इन्द्र आदि देवताओंने उनका अपने सेनापतिके पदपर वरण किया

Kārtikeyas tu saṃvṛddhaḥ kālena mahatā tadā | devaiḥ senāpatitvena vṛtaḥ sendrair bhṛgūdvaha bhṛguśreṣṭha ||

婆悉吒说道:“经由漫长岁月,迦尔蒂凯耶成长壮大、威力圆满之时,诸天在因陀罗率领下拣选他,立为天军统帅。婆利古族之最胜者啊,此任命昭示法则:战时统御当归于最有能力、最为成熟、能护持众生的守护者。”
