Pitṛ-śrāddha-haviḥ-phala-nirdeśa
Offerings for Ancestors and Their Stated Results
अग्न्यभावे च कुरुते वह्निस्थानेषु काउ्चनम् | जामदग्न्य प्रमाणज्ञो वेदश्रुतिनिदर्शनात्
agnyabhāve ca kurute vahnistāneṣu kāñcanam | jāmadagnyaḥ pramāṇajño vedaśrutinidarśanāt ||
婆悉吒说道：“若无火者，通晓正当凭据（pramāṇa）之人——如吠陀启示所示——可于需火之处以黄金代之。噢，阇摩达格尼之子帕罗修罗摩，此即表明：守持法（dharma）在于遵循吠陀先例；当境遇使正行难以施行时，亦当采用经许可之替代。”
