Praise of cow-gift and ghee-centered recitation
द्विजातिमतिसत्कृत्य श्वः कालमभिवेद्य च | गोदानार्थे प्रयुजुजीत रोहिणी नियतव्रतः
bhbma uvbca |
dvijbtim atisatktya bva kblam abhivedya ca |
godbnrthe prayujujta rohi niyatavrata ||
毗湿摩说道：欲行施牛之人，当守持戒誓，恭敬礼遇一位二次生者婆罗门，并预告时日——“明日”。为施牛之用，应备一头微赤之牝牛（罗希尼），以规定之辞呼唤之，入于牛群之中，诵读所示之吠陀圣句。
