भीष्म उवाच असदृवृत्ताय पापाय लुब्धायानृतवादिने । हव्यकव्यव्यपेताय न देया गौ: कथंचन

Transliteration

bhīṣma uvāca asadṛvṛttāya pāpāya lubdhāyānṛtavādine | havyakavyavyapetāya na deyā gauḥ kathaṃcana ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：绝不可把牛施与行为不端之人——有罪、贪婪、惯于妄语者——也不可施与不敬圣供（havis）与祖先祭礼（kavya）之人；无论如何都不应给。
