Gopradāna-phalasaṃprāpti: Nāciketa’s Vision of Vaivasvata’s Realms (गोप्रदानफलसम्प्राप्तिः — नाचिकेतोपाख्यानम्)
प्राणान् दत्त्वा कपोताय यत् प्राप्ते शिबिना पुरा । तां गतिं लभते दत्त्वा द्विजस्यान्नं विशाम्पते
prāṇān dattvā kapotāya yat prāpte śibinā purā | tāṁ gatiṁ labhate dattvā dvijasya annaṁ viśāmpate prajānātha |
毗湿摩说道：“在远古之时，尸毗王为了一只鸽子，竟舍弃自身性命，因此得至无上的归宿。同样地，噢，人民之主、护持众生者，凡以食物施与婆罗门者，亦将获得那同一归宿。”
