Karma-Phala Rahasya and the Ethics of Dāna (कर्मफल-रहस्यं दानधर्मश्च)
न नश्यति कृतं कर्म सदा पज्चेन्द्रियैरिह । ते हास्य साक्षिणो नित्यं पष्ठ आत्मा तथैव च
na naśyati kṛtaṃ karma sadā pañcendriyaiḥ iha | te hāsya sākṣiṇo nityaṃ ṣaṣṭha ātmā tathaiva ca ||
毗湿摩说道：在此世间，经由五根所造之业，决不会真正消亡。那五根恒为其证，而第六者——内在之我（心识、内心的觉知）亦常常观照作证。故而，即便没有外在的裁判，行为仍具道德上的可归责性：业由行者自携，并在其内心被见证与铭记。
