अप्यल्पं प्रददुः सर्वे पृथिव्या इति नः श्रुतम्‌ । भूमिमेव ददुः सर्वे भूमिं ते भुञज्जते जना:

Transliteration

apy alpaṁ pradaduḥ sarve pṛthivyā iti naḥ śrutam | bhūmim eva daduḥ sarve bhūmiṁ te bhuñjate janāḥ ||

Translation

毗湿摩说道：“我们听闻，即便只施舍了一小块土地的人，也能获得施地之功德的圆满果报。确实，凡施与土地者，皆被视为施与了‘大地’本身；而众生在来世所享受的报偿，正是那同一片土地。”
