कन्या जज्ञे सुतात् तस्य वने निवसत: सतः । नाम्ना सत्यवती नाम रूपेणाप्रतिमा भुवि
kanyā jajñe sutāt tasya vane nivasataḥ sataḥ | nāmnā satyavatī nāma rūpeṇāpratimā bhuvi ||
毗湿摩说道:当那位国王居于林中时,诞下一位女儿,名曰萨蒂娅瓦蒂(Satyavatī)。在大地之上,她的容色无与伦比——这非凡的存在,后来将成为王族血脉与责任展开中的关键。
भीष्म उवाच
The verse highlights the emergence of an exceptional person within a royal-ethical narrative: extraordinary qualities (like incomparable beauty) are presented as markers of destiny that can influence lineage and the responsibilities (dharma) of rulers and families.
Bhishma narrates that while a king was residing in the forest, a daughter was born to him. She was named Satyavatī, and she is described as unmatched in beauty on earth, foreshadowing her later importance in the dynastic story.
