अन्‍्यं वरं वृणीष्व त्वं दुर्लभो5यं हि ते वर: । अत: जिनका मन अपने वशमें नहीं है

Transliteration

śakra uvāca | anyaṃ varaṃ vṛṇīṣva tvaṃ durlabho ’yaṃ hi te varaḥ |

Translation

释迦罗（帝释天）曰：“另择他愿吧。你所求之愿，实难为你所得。故当舍弃执求婆罗门之位——凡不能制心者，此事终不可得——改求别的恩赐。此愿于你，确属难得。”
