उज्जानक उपस्पृश्य आर्टिषेणस्य चाश्रमे । पिड़ायाश्षाश्रमे स्नात्वा सर्वपापै: प्रमुच्यते

Transliteration

Ujjānaka upaspṛśya Ārtiṣeṇasya cāśrame | Piḍāyāś āśrame snātvā sarvapāpaiḥ pramucyate ||

Translation

在郁阇那迦（Ujjānaka）圣渡口行净触之礼并沐浴，又于阿尔提舍那（Ārtiṣeṇa）之林庵与毗荼（Piḍā）之林庵再行沐浴者，便能解脱一切罪垢。此段强调《摩诃婆罗多》所示之伦理：以朝圣与守持仪则而得净化；圣地若以恭敬之心、依正当仪轨而趋赴，便成为道德更新与消除积累恶业之助缘。
