Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters
पर्यश्षन्ति च ये दारानग्निभृत्यातिथींस्तथा । उत्सन्नपितृदेवेज्यास्ते वै निरयगामिन:
paryaśnanti ca ye dārān agnibhṛtyātithīṁs tathā | utsannapitṛdevejyās te vai nirayagāminaḥ ||
毗湿摩说道：凡进食而不先向圣火献供，不先供养仆役与宾客，又弃绝对祖灵与诸神应尽的祭祀，却只顾自己、怠慢妻室与家中所依者的人，必定被系缚而堕地狱。此教诫强调：若无视祭仪之责与待客、抚养之社会义务，个人的饮食享用便成罪业。
