Tīrtha-vaṃśa Upadeśa: Instruction on the Fruits of Sacred Waters

अकल्ककस्य विप्रस्य रौक्ष्यात्‌ करकृतात्मन: । वटवो यस्य भिक्षन्ति तेभ्यो दत्त महाफलम्‌

Transliteration

akalkakasya viprasya raukṣyāt karakṛtātmanaḥ | vaṭavo yasya bhikṣanti tebhyo dattaṃ mahāphalam ||

Translation

毗湿摩说：当一位毫无诡诈的婆罗门，被极度贫困磨砺得坚忍，手中刚得一点食物，他饥饿的孩子便立刻哀求道：“给我，给我！”——此时施与那婆罗门及其孩子的布施，能结极大的福德之果。
