सहधर्म-प्रश्नः तथा अष्टावक्रोपाख्यान-प्रस्तावः

य: पठेत शुचि: पार्थ ब्रह्मचारी जितेन्द्रिय: । अभग्नयोगो वर्ष तु सो5श्वमेधफलं लभेत्
yaḥ paṭheta śuciḥ pārtha brahmacārī jitendriyaḥ | abhagnayogo varṣaṃ tu so ’śvamedhaphalaṃ labhet ||
风神伐由说道：“噢，帕尔塔！凡人若行止清净，守持梵行（brahmacarya），制伏诸根，并在整整一年中恒常安住于瑜伽而诵此赞歌，便能获得与马祭（Aśvamedha）同等的功德。”
